Cuddlers treats Mafikeng mums

28 May 2019

Being a mother is, without a doubt, the toughest job in the world, but it is also the most important and rewarding job. Since being a mother does not come with a manual, what else can be done to help moms learn all about what to expect in pregnancy, birth and raising another human being?

Cuddlers along with Kamano Wellness and Baby Suite, in Mafikeng, believed that there definitely was something they could do to help moms, and so they have partnered together to create a place for moms to composse together to support one another while being able to learn vital skills about childcare from the professionals themselves.

On Saturday, 18 May, moms were treated to a delicious lunch while learning from various experts on the following topics:

  • Breastfeeding
  • The first 1000 days of life
  • Co-parenting techniques
  • The importance of a balanced diet

Murray Booth, the marketing executive at Cuddlers – the happy baby company, shared how excited he was to see so many wonderful moms and expecting moms coming together to learn and support one another. “Even though Cuddlers is the happy baby company, happy babies need happy parents. We are so honoured to be a part of an initiative that appreciates moms (and dads) and is committed to helping them in any way possible.”,

Cuddlers is the formal sponsor of the Kamano Wellness and Baby Suite event, giving moms vouchers, product and prizes.

Sister Winnie-Dimakatso Victoria Seleka, the head nurse & midwife of Kamano Wellness and Baby Suite, has always been passionate about helping pregnant women and babies and hopes to continue doing so for many years to come. “Being a mom is hard, so we want to help moms as much as we can. We are so thankful to the big brands such as Cuddlers who have helped to make our moms feel special”, said Seleka.

Cuddlers and Kamano Wellness and Baby Suite are dedicated to empowering all mothers and aim to give them the tools they need to look after and care for their children properly. They invite all mums and prospective mums to attend future sessions where they will learn more invaluable lessons about what to expect when you are expecting and all that you could expect thereafter.

These sessions take place every quarter with the next one to be in August 2019 (date to be confirmed) at The Kamano Wellness and Baby Suite, 21 North Street, Mafikeng.
